Laura + Kyle, seriously this couple is stunning. I love all the weddings that we shoot, I really do, and I tend to get feelings about them prior to the day. I know that sounds funny, but just stick with me for a second. I tend to get a sense just from working with the couple what their day will be like. For example upon meeting Laura and Kyle I sensed that their wedding day would be classic, timeless, rich in detail, and full of laughter. And it was, and even more beautiful then I could imagine. Their love jumped off the canvas of their day, there was lace and sunshine, and this couple was radiant.
Laura and Kyle met at college and were just friends for a season, but started to become particularly close during their junior year of college. At the time Laura wasn’t interested in Kyle as more then a friend, however Kyle began to grow more and more fond of Laura. Kyle surprised Laura and took her out to an Indian cultural festival, which unbeknownst to her was actually their “first date.” Many dates later Kyle proposed to Laura informally on a beach in Florida, and then again in her dorm room with his mother’s diamond ring, and once more at the General Sutter, in the coolest small town in America with that diamond reset. That’s three beautiful proposals! Laura & Kyle, I think that your story is one of beauty. I love the depth of your love and commitment and I know great things are in store for you two as a couple. Hugo and I loved being part of your day it was nothing short of amazing!
