You hear us say it a lot that we are so honored to work with the brides and grooms that we do. I am often overwhelmed by the fact that one of my greatest passions in life is my career, and that I get to do what I love most for AMAZING people. I am especially honored when my family allows me not only to be a part of these BIG moments but also trusts us to capture them. I feel so honored that I got to hold the title of cousin and photographer on Kyle & Sarena’s wedding day.
This past spring within a week, my sister and two of my cousin’s got engaged. We’ve had the great privilege of welcoming some of the most wonderful people into our family, and I count it such a blessing to see my extended and immediate family grow. Kyle & Sarena are each other’s perfect compliment. At their reception they showed a video that highlighted that fact that they are opposites in many ways, but that’s the beauty in it all, they bring out the best in each other. Kyle is a real outdoorsmen, a hard worker, and he is so much fun. Sarena is a servant, and gentleness is part of who she is. At the core of who this couple is I would say they love people, they are quick to put other’s before themselves. Basically they’re the AWESOME.
The details of this day were *swoon* worthy. A long sleeve lace dress, teal vintage car, a ceremony on a hill overlooking a pond and willow trees, assorted china, soft pink details, and a property full of loving friends and family. I loved the ease of this day, nothing rushed or forced, Kyle & Sarena took their time and enjoyed their day and each other. That’s what making a wedding day truly special enjoying friends and family, what God has joined together. Kyle & Sarena I’m so excited for you two, and can’t wait to see where the Lord leads you together. Thank you for allowing me to capture your special day, it was so much fun for us.
