I have three amazingly gorgeous sister-in-laws that live down in Guatemala. So what do you do when you have three drop-dead beautiful sister-in-law’s? You obviously plan multiple photo sessions for when you visit them. Back when I was a teenager and I was just getting interested in photography, I would take photos of my sister almost every day after school. Those are such fond memories of mine, and moments like these take me right back to those days. When I was just discovering the joy of creating and capturing.
Angelica is closest in age to Hugo, and so dear to my heart. She is determined, bright, and has the most caring heart. I enjoyed this time with her so well, and can’t wait for more. I wanted this photo session to be vibrant yet simple. We choose a shift dress from Zara, and added a heaping dose of color with multiple bright ribbons tied to the most massive succulent plant I could find.
You should have seen Hugo and I as we walked through the Guatemalan green house searching for this plant. I think we were both mentally creating new #plantgoals when we found this “big” guy. Someday our plants will be like this. 😉 As least we hope.
Thank you Angelica for so kindly modeling for me. You are beautiful inside and out, and I can’t think of anyone else I would rather have sent the morning with wandering Antigua, battling crazy traffic, all while getting strange looks from passer-byes (they’re probably envied larger then life succulent plant, I know I would have.)
Happy Friday Everyone!
