You know when you have people in your life and you can’t exactly pinpoint the time you first met, but they’ve always been a part of your life. Well that’s Kari in my life. She has always been there, in fact I don’t think I can remember a time where I didn’t know her. We grew up at the same church and got to know each other especially well in our pre-teen years. I’ve valued this beautiful woman’s friendship for so many years, and I have and will always admire her kind heart. She has a way of drawing people out of their shell, listening intently, and encouraging and inspiring action in others. As I reflect back on the many memories I share with this beautiful lady, I just have to laugh. All those times we spent “playing tennis” when we were really just being total goofballs on the tennis court, countless cool evenings in Guatemala laughing until our stomachs hurt, and of course playing music too loud in our cars. Great times!
Hugo and I have especially loved getting to know Chris better, and especially love hanging out as a couples. I think we may have even started a tradition of only eating breakfast food when they come for dinner. 😉 The first time I met Chris, I had a distinct feeling that Chris was perfect for Kari. There wasn’t any particular reason why I felt that way, but over time that feeling has been confirmed repeatedly. Chris & Kari, you two are the best, and we love your openness and transparency as a couple. You have encouraged us in our walk with the LORD and each other often. We’re so thankful to have you all as friends, and can’t wait for your WEDDING!
We captured Kari & Chris’s pictures at St. Peter’s Village, and it was amazing! It’s an adorable one street town with a bubbling creek that runs behind it and tons of boulders to hike around on. We loved exploring this new location along side Kari & Chris. So without further ado…enjoy this preview from Kari & Chris’s engagement photo session.
