This wedding is such a good one. We have a love for backyard weddings that has grown so much over the years, since our own wedding. Pretty much backyard weddings our jam, and we can’t say enough of good about this one. We walked into the day, and every single person was so relaxed and we loved that! Cortney & Ryan are both so laid-back and their wedding day embodied them as a couple so well. They were married and celebrated their day at Cortney’s family farm in Lycoming County. I loved walking in and seeing family photos hung on the walls, and knowing that this is were Cortney grew up made this day that much more special!
Cortney & Ryan shared their first look at the far end of one of the fields under a massive tree, and it was one of my favorite moments of the day. Ryan was filled with so much pride and joy seeing his Cortney, and the excitement was tangible. We love how these two really embraced their day, and had SO much fun with all of their friends and family. Nothing was rushed or hurried. Vows were made right next to the family home, overlooking beautiful fields, and the cows even lined up to get in on the action!
The celebration was continued with a pig roast, laughter, dancing, a bonfire, and the night was topped off with fireworks and sparklers. Everything about this day speaks to us, the love of family and friends, rich heritage, beautiful vows, and rolling hills. We could say SO much more but we think the photos can speak for themselves.
Cortney & Ryan, thank you for inviting us into your day. Thank you for welcoming us into your lives in a way that makes us feel like we’ve known you much longer then we really have. You all are the best, and we can’t wait for you to see these images. Your kindness and hospitality has meant so much to us!
