Y‘ALL, we are so excited to share this with you. Since the start of Janae Rose Photography, we have dreamed about growing and increasing our team. Rewind even more years back, to when we met Sarah in 2013. At the time we had no clue that we would be adding her and her awesome husband, Simeon, to our team. We did however know right away, that we loved this lady. She is genuine and kind, and not only that, but she’s got mad skills with her camera. She has helped us as a second photographer for over four years now and she even got to photograph our own engagement photos (cool, right!)

Sarah & Simeon will be photographing weddings for us as associate photographer, and we are so excited to have another husband & wife team, join the Janae Rose Photography Team. These two work so well together, and they have love that is contagious. You will be seeing more of the weddings they will be capturing this year, on the blog. YAY! We wanted to take a moment and let them introduce themselves here on the blog. Sit back, and enjoy, because this couple is AMAZING!

“We are Sarah and Simeon. Since we are technically newlyweds ourselves we are naturally big fans of marriage. We are so excited to be able to help capture weddings with Janae Rose Photography. I, Sarah, shot my first wedding with Janae in 2013, and am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from her and Hugo through the years. And now I am even more excited to be able to share this experience with my best friend and love, Simeon.  

We share our home with our West High White Terrier Wally. Although we are both transplants, Simeon is originally from Wisconsin and I am from Alabama, we love living in Pennsylvania. Simeon works as a landscape maintenance manager and also remodels houses in the winter months. I have always loved animals and work as a Certified Veterinary Technician. We met serving together at a House of Prayer and although we were interested in each other off and on at different times, Simeon finally decided to pursue me in 2014 and it wasn’t long before we knew that we wanted to spend our lives together. Together we enjoy going to new places, traveling, and exploring. We enjoy music, playing guitar, snowboarding, trying new cuisine, hiking, walks with Wally, and being with our families.

 We love being able to capture emotions and things from a wedding that make the couple feel like they are reliving their special day each time they look at their images.  Each couple’s relationship is so special and we love how each wedding day has its own special feel. Marriage has been one of the greatest gifts God has blessed us with and we can’t wait to capture more couples as they begin this new season of life.
