We’ve been looking forward to Brandon & Alex’s wedding for a long time. How beautiful it is when a well anticipated day arrives. These two are high school sweet hearts, and I actually went to the same high school as them. How neat is that?!? Alex was stunning, everything from her dress, jewelry, and her overall being was SO beautiful. At Alex & Brandon’s reception Alex’s best friend and maid of honor stood up and spoke about how Alex is kind, thoughtful, and always believes and brings out the best in people. Just in the short time I’ve gotten to spend with Alex, I can tell that all what was said is true and so much more. Alex really does exudes kindness and joy. And Brandon is Alex’s strong and steady. He’s not a man of many words, but his expression said so much more then words could have when he saw Alex for the first time on their wedding day. Alex & Brandon are each other’s perfect compliment, there is not doubt.

This couple was married at Tulpehocken Manor, and it was perfect. I love the details of this location, the old home, stone buildings, and the large trees out by the bubbling creek. Everything about this place was perfect for Alex & Brandon’s big day. Surrounded by some of the finest people, coming to celebrate and bless this precious couple.  I seeing a community come around a couple and cheer them on, on one of the biggest days of their lives.

When I walk away from a wedding I want my couples to feel well taken care of, but more often then not I walk away feeling refreshed myself. That is exactly how I felt on this day. Thank you Alex & Brandon for showing us such kindness, for allowing us to be part of your day, making us laugh, and remind us of the beauty that is in love and commitment. Here’s to you both!
