Hello & Happy Wednesday! Looking back over these photos puts a huge smile on my face, and specifically makes me think back to one of the first times that I met Aleina. It was at Logan’s cousin’s wedding that we shot last year, Maddie + Cody. At the very end of the night after Maddie & Cody were sent off with sparklers. Aleina so sweetly introduced herself to me, and said that whenever she gets married she wants us to photograph their wedding!

There is honestly no higher compliment that I can think of! I loved that we met that way, and we are so thankful that Aleina said something to us! A few months later we received an email from her saying that they were ENGAGED! YAY! We quickly started planning for their engagement photo session, to which the first date was rained out…(Spring can be like that sometimes.) However the second time was the charm, and we were so excited to finally get to talk to this couple and hear all about their story.

These two met in school together, and have such a sweet story. They were engaged at a Christmas Tree Farm! Logan had a beautiful set up including hot chocolate and the works. One of my favorite parts of the story was that Aleina didn’t realize right away that it was ALL for her. SO sweet! Good job Logan, way to surprise her.

We loved making the trek back into the Cliffs for this engagement photo session! It was incredible! Logan & Aleina are so kind and super easy to chat with. We even found out that on the day we were first scheduled to do engagement photos Logan actually worked and met my brother for the first time. Isn’t that super fun…also very Lancaster County for you. 😉

Logan & Aleina, we are so excited for you. Marriage is such a gift, and we know that you’re so excited to jump right into it. We hope and pray this season of preparing for your BIG day is smooth!
