What a great wedding we get to share with you today! Matt and Rachel were so fun to be around and photograph! They got married in the small town of Bethel, PA. Matt and many of his relatives live in this area and it was neat to be able to capture images at several family homes, including Rachel and Matt’s future home! The houses were all with in walking distance and we loved seeing how close this family is, not just in proximity, but also in their love for one another.
Rachel and Matt were eager to start their lives together and their day was filled with emotion, support, and joy! Rachel wrote a letter to Matt to read at their first look, with the closing sentence telling him to turn around to see her. As he read the letter, his excitement grew, and as he turned around, he was thrilled to finally join his bride on their big day.
After their portraits at their uncles beautiful farm, Matt and Rachel were married in a church surrounded by family and friends. The minister took time to explain Matt and Rachels story to those in attendance, from first impressions, to first date, to that day, standing together to unite their lives. Their journey was so wonderful and it was an honor to be able to be apart of it in a small way on their wedding day.
The night ended with a reception filled with fun details, dancing, delicious food, and of course, a fabulous getaway car.
Thank you Matt and Rachel for allowing us to capture the start of your lives together. We can’t wait for you to see your images and we hope they always bring you back to your special day.
