One of my favorite aspects about our work is that we get to meet new people and connect with them personally and also connect with their unique style, vision, and creativity. Laura had this beautiful idea to plan a session that felt really “them”. A session that was personal and laidback, so we met them in their gorgeous home, and captured an evening of dancing, takeout, and couch snuggles. We love to encourage couple’s to craft an engagement photo session that reflects their true selves, and Laura & Thomas did this seamlessly.
One of my favorite parts of in home sessions is that naturally they take a different pace and shape. This session was slow and easy going, it unfolded over time, and it blessed Hugo and I so much. Laura and Thomas ordered Chinese Food for us, showed us their favorite spots in their home, introduced us to their family, and truly made us feel so welcomed. Our hearts were so full looking through Laura’s parents wedding album, and hearing all about how Thomas and Laura met and how and how life lead them to each other.
Laura & Thomas, we can’t thank you enough for your hospitality and kindness. We are so very happy for you, and so very excited for your beautiful wedding day, coming soon! We look forward to seeing you again soon!
