This year’s wedding season has been such beautiful one. I can’t help but sit back and reflect on all of the amazing marriages we got to witness, and all of the once in a lifetime moments we captured. Hugo and I are so grateful for our jobs, it is a gift from God that we get to do what we love! In the mist of this beautifully busy year, we’re learning so much about balance. As we are growing in this business, we are finding that we need to prioritize adventures. As life gets busy it is easy to work non-stop, but in the end we find ourselves feeling distant from each other and uninspired. We recently implemented “Friday Adventures”, we have decided to be intentional about taking Friday to dream, connect, and stay inspired. These past few weeks have been so beautiful, and we’ve taken the time to go hikes and mini adventures.
Last Friday, we ventured out to a boulder field that we have been itching to visit for sometime. It was a little bit of a drive, but Hugo and I love road trips and the laughter, good conversation, and sometimes naps that go along with a lengthy car ride. Hickory Run State Park was even better then we could have hoped. We walked along the lake, and enjoyed the sound of running waters and watching our baby girl take it all in. Gloria has taken to hiking, and is a big fan of spending quality time outside. She recently started to point at things, and we are loving this new stage. It’s so fun to see her what catches her attention.
Here are a few images from our recent adventure. We are excited to share more about our Friday adventures. If you ever get a chance definitely visit Hickory Run State Park, the boulder field is so much fun to hike across, and makes for beautiful photos. We are excited about an upcoming photo session we have at this location, and can’t wait to return.
Happy Friday!
