This wedding was such a dream! If you haven’t been to Cape May, New Jersey, what are you waiting for?!?! This quaint and charming beach town was the perfect location for Lauren + Ryan’s incredible wedding day. We were so honored to be a part of capturing these incredible moments for them! 

This past fall we traveled to New Hope, NJ for their engagement photos, and oh what a blast it was meeting this couple. Literally the most wonderful people, so relatable and kind. We’ve been pretty jazzed about their wedding from the moment that we started talking about their BIG day! 

((Side Note :: Since Lauren + Ryan’s engagement photos took place in New Jersey, and our youngest daughter was still so tiny we decided that we would bring our girls along with a sitter to the session so that while we captured Lauren + Ryan’s engagement in New Hope, the girls could hang with their favorite Auntie Katelyn. 😉 When you’re in New Hope, you can cross a bridge that is in between Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the state line is right around the middle. Our oldest daughter Gloria still many months later talks about how her and her beloved babysitter walked across the bridge, and they “crossed into ANOTHER state!” Her mind was blown! 😉 ))

I don’t know what it is about the beach, but in my mind it pretty much feels like one of the most romantic places to get married at. Looking through these images just kept making me think that they look like something straight out of a Nicolas Sparks novel!  Lauren + Ryan really put their friends and family at the center of their wedding day, which was so beautiful! The moments they shared on the dance floor with their people were so touching! 

Another awesome moment on their day was during their ceremony. Their officiant asked the guests to share in a moment of prayer for Lauren + Ryan, as they entered into their marriage, and as everyone was praying quietly a party boat cruised by and started cheering loudly for this awesome couple. Their sweet officiant ended the prayer by saying that it must have been a sign that God is happy! 

Lauren + Ryan, we are so thankful for you! Getting to capture your wedding was such fun! We can’t wait to hear all about your honeymoon, and about your adventure swimming with Whale Sharks.
