Liz + Jon, had the perfect mild August weather for their wedding day. We had been wishing good weather for them for weeks, and it just felt so right that their wedding day would be a cool comfortable end of August day! We have loved getting to work with Liz & Jon, they traveled from Long Island to Lancaster for their wedding at the Drumore Estate. This past spring we even had the pleasure to travel to their hometown in Long Island for their engagement photos, at the high school where they first met each other!

Liz & Jon, have such a high value for people, and their wedding day was such a pure reflection of that. They wanted to honor their family and friends, as well as celebrate their love story and journey together. They have spent many years together, and we are so grateful we got to capture their beautiful day for them! Liz & Jon, shared a tender first look, complete with a multitude of smiles. During cocktail hour Jon joined the Sterling Strings Quartet to play a song as a surprise to Liz! Jon played violin when he was in elementary-middle school, and he relearned it for this special moment! Following cocktail hour everyone enjoy the incredible food provided by the amazing people at Drumore Estate, the evening was filled with dancing, champagne cake, a live painter, and the arrival of Lancaster Burger Co. These touches all made the evening so personal! And to top the night off was an eighteen minute firework show, that was the most incredible show I’ve ever seen! Jon is in the firework business, and he really treated us all to an amazing show!
