Hello! We are really amped to share this beautiful wedding with you. Alex & Kristen are amazing, we are always SO honored when friends ask us to capture their wedding day! You may remember that we photographed their engagement photo session at the White Cliffs of Conoy. We look back on this session with such fondness and are so grateful for this amazing couple!

Growing up I (Janae) shared many memories with Alex and his family. Mission trips to Guatemala and many family bike rides. I literally laugh out loud when I think of many of those times together. We love Kristen and her authenticity and kindness, she was actually one of the few people that was present when we got engaged. She was the barista at Tomato Pie Cafe, when Hugo popped the question. Back then we’d never had guessed that some day we’d be photographing her wedding!

We love how purely “Alex & Kristen” this wedding day was. They were so intentional to add personal touches that were so “them” in their ceremony and reception, and we love that! From the colors, to the exchanging of gifts and peanut butter & jelly sandwich at their ceremony, to the Irish Dancing at their reception, everything was SO fun, (just like them!) Their cool April day was rainy yet perfect, and the sun even peaked out for a few “golden hour portraits.” We may have squealed a few times out of excitement!

Alex & Kristen, we love you! Your devotion and intentionality in your relationship is something we admire so dearly. We are excited for you, as you take this next step into marriage. It’s a beautiful ride, and we know you’re going to LOVE it.
