Spring weddings have a special kind of magic—especially when they take place at a venue as timeless and elegant as Felina in Ridgewood, New Jersey. J + D’s wedding was a perfect reflection of their refined taste and deep connection, beautifully blending tradition and personality throughout the day.

Their celebration began with a heartfelt church ceremony, followed by a stylish reception at Felina. But before the official festivities kicked off, J + D shared one of the most moving moments of the day: a private first look under the spring sun and lush green trees, where they exchanged personal vows. As photographers, we live for these authentic, unscripted moments—this one felt especially significant and grounding for the rest of their day.

After saying “I do,” they exited the church to a unique and whimsical celebration—a lavender toss. Guests showered the couple in dried lavender as they made their way to the reception, a beautiful and symbolic gesture that felt both whimsical and romantic.

Felina’s modern, art-deco charm set the tone for the evening. Its stunning interiors, paired with lush spring florals by Allendale Flowers, created an atmosphere that felt both upscale and inviting. The reception was filled with energy, thanks in no small part to the Jack Faulkner Orchestra, whose live performance had the dance floor packed all night long.

Every element of this day reflected the couple’s vision for a chic and intimate wedding on the East Coast—and it was a joy for us to photograph it all.
