You know that feeling when you meet someone for the first time and instantly you feel like they’re old friends. That’s how we felt when we met Liz & Jared. This couple is incredible, they are so kind, easy going, full of life, and hold each other and the LORD so dear. It always amazes me what beautiful people this business brings into our lives. We have made so many wonderful friends, heard so many beautiful stories of couples meeting, falling in love, and their journey to marriage.

These two went to the same high school together, but didn’t really connect back then. They moved on from high school and years passed, and later down the road their paths crossed once again. They realized how incredible each other was and began their friendship. Through their friendship, Liz’s encouragement, and the gift of a bible, Jared encountered the Lord in a powerful way, transforming his life. And in the mist the beautiful changing of seasons these two realized that their friendship felt like something much more. They fell in love, and as they continued to pursue each other, the Lord, and their dreams together it was only fitting that Jared devised a plan to propose to Liz at “Field Day” in front of her parents, fellow teachers, and students.

Liz & Jared, Hugo and I walked away from your photo session feeling so refreshed and talking about how we should had joined you for a second dinner. I was reminded once again why I do what I do. To engage others, to hear their story, and capture the beauty in this season of their history. I love to listen to people’s stories, and to hear what they love about each other. By the end of my time with Liz & Jared I felt so encouraged, by their hearts, their story, their zeal for life and their genuine kindness.

They gifted our baby girl an adorable onesie that says “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” on it, how precious is that?!? It meant so much to us! Thanks you guys for being so awesome! We can’t wait to hang out with you again.
