It’s such a joy for me to share Tory & Brian’s wedding today. Tory & Brian have been so great to work with, and we love their attention to detail, and their joyful spirits! The day started at Tory’s parents home. There are very few things I love more then photographing a bride getting ready in her family home. The feeling of warmth that accompanies a bride preparing for her wedding day there is such a beautiful thing, and I always feel so inspired by that setting! I think it’s because I get such a broad glimpse into the story of the couple. I get to see family photos, there is always an abundance of food, and generally someone with a big smile greets me at the door. In this case it was the beautiful bride, Tory.

Tory & Brian have welcomed us with open arms into telling their story. We’ve had the honor of capturing two of Tory’s dear friend’s weddings, and this time it was their turn! I think without fail one of my favorite parts of this day was their ceremony. Their ceremony was crafted with such attention to detail, and so much meaning. It started with Brian’s father playing guitar, and followed with happy tears shed by Brian as he saw Tory walk down the aisle. We loved seeing these two look back at their guests all throughout their wedding ceremony, and it was so obvious they were in no rush, just simply living in the moment and enjoying every part of their wedding day! 

Tory & Brian choose to celebrate with friends and family at The National Constitution Center right across from Independence Hall in Old City Philadelphia. What a perfect place for them because they LOVE Philadelphia and the wealth of history that is offers! Before joining their guests for a fabulous cocktail hour, we spent some time roaming around Old City, making stops at Merchant’s Exchange Building, and all the iconic places along the way as we walked to their elegant reception! Tory & Brian’s first dance was magical and these two really have a way with their feet. We loved seeing them cut it up out there! 

Tory & Brian, we loved getting to know you better through this season. You have such passion and drive that inspires us, and we are so honored to get to photograph these incredible moments for you! We’re so happy for you, and just a tiny bit sad that this means we’ll be seeing you a little less. We hope this preview of your wedding day images put a smile on your face today, and that they forever remind you of how loved and cherished you are by each other and those around you!
