Hello & Happy Wednesday. We are thrilled to be sharing this beautiful couple’s wedding with all of you here. We absolutely love summer weddings, and this wedding took our breath away. Taylor & Brandon are so kind and friendly, and their wedding was such a true reflection of their abundant love and commitment to one another. The pink hydrangeas at the Smoker Farm were in full bloom and the overcast skies created the softest most beautiful light for this couple’s wedding day, plus they even lucked out with a little bit of rain to cool day, but not enough to spoil the fun.
One of our favorite parts of Taylor & Brandon’s wedding day was after their ceremony and formal portraits they unearthed the bottle of bourbon they buried before their wedding day. If you’ve never heard of this before it’s a Southern tradition that states if you bury a bottle of bourbon a month before your wedding date, it won’t rain on your wedding day and you’ll have good fortune as a married couple. I’m pretty sure the tradition worked! This was such a fun part of their day and we love seeing couples incorporate traditions into their celebrations. Taylor & Brandon, thanks so much for allowing us the joy of documenting these important moments for you. We hope these images always serve as a reminder of how deeply loved you are by one another and those that surround you. Enjoy!
