Happy Friday! it feels like it’s only right that this rainy week is completed with a rainy engagement photo session! Last fall we captured Heather’s sister’s wedding, and when she emailed about wanting to have us to photograph her wedding we were thrilled! At Melissa & Mike’s wedding we noted how all of their families were for one, so adorable, and two, exceptionally kind! To say the least we were honored to hear from Heather + Tom!! 

Hugo and I were sadly unavailable for their date, however we knew who would be the perfect fit for Heather  & Tom’s wedding. Cue, Kelly & Andrei, the dream team! Months ago we all set a date for Heather & Tom’s engagement photo session on the calendar, and when the weather did not look great Heather & Tom said, “Hey we’re not gonna let a little rain stop us!” Which we love!

So we packed our umbrella’s and headed to Heather & Tom’s amazing wedding venue, Spring Hill Manor in Rising Sun, Maryland. This place is so quaint and beautiful, filled with lots of antiques and our personal favorite a circular arbor with wisteria growing on it! (Can you say dreamy!) Kelly and Andrei captured this couple perfectly, never once letting the rain dampen the occasion! I’m a little bias but I kind of think the rain made it all extra fun. 😉 

Heather & Tom have hearts of gold, and we loved hearing about how they met through mutual friends, and all the plans and dreams they have for their wedding and future. Heather & Tom, you two have a contagious energy together, we’re ALL so excited for you. I’m a little sad that I’m missing out on the BBQ at your wedding, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing photos Kelly & Andrei will capture of your BIG day.
