This is peak wedding season for us. Hello September and October, we see you! This time of the year is always so fun to shoot in because the greens are so deep and bold, and it’s one of my favorite looks from an aesthetics perspective! Last November I ran into Aleina & Logan at Maddie and Cody’s wedding, right after their sparkler exit, Aleina came up to us and said she wanted us to shoot their wedding, when they got engaged! 

We couldn’t help but be so excited for this couple, specially since we have SO many connections with them! I think on their wedding day there were about six different couples that we photographed weddings for in the past! Isn’t that so FUN! One of the things I loved most about Aleina & Logan’s wedding day was how it was such a family affair! What a treasure it is to have family and friends that showers you with their love, help, and talents on your wedding day! 

Aleina’s cousin did all of the hair and makeup for her and the bridesmaids. Also Aleina’s mother baked all of the cakes, cheese cakes, cake pops, and other goodies on the dessert table! She even made Aleina & Logan a mini cheesecake for each of them at their reception! Not only where the desserts beautiful, but they were SO delicious!

Aleina & Logan wanted to have their wedding day portraits taken at Nolde Forest, which is an incredible location! And I loved the feel they wanted to capture in their photos. The woods are our happy place, so it only felt right to venture through the ferns and trees for this amazing couple. Also Logan had us shedding all of the happy tears, when he saw Aleina at their first look, what a special moment for the two of them, I love getting to see how groom’s react when seeing their bride for the first time on their wedding day!

Aleina & Logan, thank you SO very much for trusting us with capturing your wedding day. It was an honor to stand by you and your friends and family!
