This engagement photo session is extra unique because while we are native to the East Coast this beautiful couple’s engagement photos took place on the West Coast in San Diego where they live. We have been secretly wanting to visit San Diego for years now, and when Heather & Sam told us that is where they live we started rolling around the idea of a California photo session, and to say it was incredible would be putting it mildly. These two are getting married locally this coming Spring, and for their engagement photos we wanted to document them in a natural setting that was “totally San Diego”, so we visited Sunset Cliffs with them…and well as you can see it was epic.

Heather & Sam have such a natural and playful side, and I appreciate their willingness to climb all over the cliffs for these images and we loved that afterwards we spent the evening enjoying food together and talking all things life and wedding day!
