Maybe it’s because Hugo and I are a multicultural couple, but whenever we get to capture a wedding for couple’s in the same position as us it is very significant. I think it takes us back to the time in our lives when we were planning our wedding and building our lives together. Janelle & Kaikai, had the most lovely wedding filled with so much joyfulness, it was truly a blessing to witness their union! Obviously we wish that all our couple’s, past, present, and future could have sunny and seventy degree weather for their wedding day, but obviously we live in reality so that was not the case for this day. Janelle & Kaikai had to use their rain plan for their wedding ceremony, and can I let you know in a little secret, we think it was PERFECT!

Janelle & Kaikai have a deep faith and their wedding ceremony was centered around their love for God and each other, and they invited their guests into worship and celebration in a stunning indoor chapel just down the road from their wedding venue. It was intimate and worshipful, and they truly crafted a wedding ceremony that captured their values and heart. One of our favorite moments from their wedding day was when their guests were singing “How Great is our God” and the worship leader invited everyone to sing in their native language, hearing Hugo across the room singing in Spanish may or may not have brought me to tears. 😉 After worship Janelle surprised Kaikai by memorizing her vows in Thai, and once again brought us all to tears.

Janelle & Kaikai, thank you for allowing us to be a part of capturing your beautiful wedding day, it meant a lot to us to see you celebrate and join your lives together.
