We’ve been a little absent on the blog lately, and that’s because we’ve recently got back from spending several weeks in Guatemala. We spent time with our family and friends over the holidays, and it was one of our favorite trips to date. During our time away we took a little hiatus from the blog. Although we missed posting, it honestly was a refreshing time to solely focus on family. In past years we have shared these posts before the new year was rung in, however this year we thought we’d do it a little different. The holidays are already busy as it is, and we love to really take our time with this post.

It is exciting for us to review our work from the previous year and remember all the highlights that 2016 brought. We got to photograph so many amazing couples this year. We are overwhelmed with gratitude! Thank you all so much for sharing your stories with us, for letting us photograph your deep love and beautiful journey. We’ve loved exploring, hiking, and venturing to all kinds of beautiful places for these sessions. These people and their hearts inspire us! We’ve seen many of these couples already tie the knot this past year, and many of them we look forward to their wedding days with giddy hearts. It’s truly an honor to capture you all.
