This sweet Friday finds us coming off of a refreshing vacation. My family does a little get-away each year to upstate New York filled with fishing, swimming, and fireworks. We’ve consistently taken this time to unwind, and for me I enjoy taking a break from all things work and even social media (sorry if we’ve need a little radio silent). We are officially back now, and with a GREAT wedding to share too.

Bethany & Cody’s wedding was my first back from my maternity leave. Zara is still really new and I can’t help but say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has helped me make this transition back to work so wonderful! My amazing Mom watches our girls, and I can not thank her enough for helping us work our dream job and for also loving our babies so well! Also thank you to Kelly for coming to help shoot this incredible day so that I could leave a little early to go home and be with baby Zara.

Bethany & Cody are incredible and we have enjoyed getting to know them better through this process. Part of our vision here at Janae Rose Photography is to make sure our clients never feel like a stranger is showing up to shoot their BIG day, and through our process we’ve been able to hear Bethany & Cody’s story, eat a meal with them, and laugh a whole lot. These two are golden and their wedding day was such a pure reflection of their love for each other and their friends and family.

One of the things that stands out to me most about this wedding day is all the smiles. Bethany has such a beautiful spirt and joy that overflows into everything she does, and on this day especially her laughter lit up every moment of the day. And Cody…the way he looks at Bethany is so tender and loving, and it is truly evident that these two have a love that is firmly rooted in joy and grace.

Bethany & Cody, we can’t thank you enough for your kindness, for allowing us the opportunity to share in your once in a lifetime moments, and to capture the depth of you love for each other and family.
