Taryn and Andy got married a her family’s farm just minutes down the road from our house, so a few weeks before their big day, I met Taryn at the farm to see where the ceremony and reception were taking place at and to figure out potential photo locations, and I am so glad we did! Because at soon as I saw one of the houses in the property and the trees around it, I knew that I wanted to take some portraits there! Lightning and their wedding day allowed us to capture dreamy portraits for them at that location, you will see below!
The day before their wedding I almost completely lost my voice, which meant I had to get creative in how to communicate while taking their portraits! For the most part Kelly spoke up for me, however at one point when capturing groomsmen portraits I had Andy’s mom help me communicate with them and we got some really authentic smiles out of the deal!
Their backyard ceremony and reception were full of laughter and joy! And their day was filled with special details like the something borrowed from Taryn’s great grandma on her bouquet and the epic bookshelf at the groomsmen getting ready location, and even surprise’s like a ride to the reception on her uncle’s vintage Pontiac!
Taryn and Andy, thank you for allowing us to capture your special and intimate wedding day! We are thankful and honored to have captured it for you! We hope all of this images help you remember your day forever and help you relive your special day now!
Enjoy! Happy Friday!
Big thanks to Kelly for helping us capture this awesome wedding!
