Maddie and Cody are getting married in the Fall at the charming Booking House, since their wedding will take place in the fall, we were hoping to include some green in their engagement session, in our search for the perfect location, we decided to have their portraits at the very cool White Cliffs of Connoy. We have had session there before, however we had never been there in the Summer, which allowed us to capture the perfect amount of trees and green we were hoping for along with the stunning beauty of the cliffs!

Every time we get to photograph at the Cliffs, I have to remind myself that there will be a 45 minute walk to get to them, and you want to be there right at sunset! Which means you have to use the trail and wait for the right timing to capture the beauty of this location!

The benefit of such a walk is that we get to know our clients by talking about all kinds things, specially during the walk in the dark out of the cliffs. We usually let our clients know about the walk ahead of time so they are all prepared and it can be an enjoyable occasion, rather than not knowing about it and being surprised at their session. I had such a great time getting to know Maddie & Cody on this particular walk. They give you that feeling of being long time friends even though we had just met for the first time.
