This engagement photo session was absolutely was amazing! Miriah & Matt have such a beautiful joy and love, and we feel very honored that they reached out to us to document this season of their story together. They recently moved to the area, and they choose a park near where they live at the University of Pennsylvania for their engagement photo session. It was brimming with flowers and trees, and dare I say it was kind of perfect for anyone who wants to feel like they are stepping outside of the city for a moment and into a more natural space. We always say we love the city, but definitely in small doses, and we really appreciated how Miriah and Matt found a location that was true to who they are and is significant in this season of their lives.

After wandering around the beautiful park, we made our way back to Miriah & Matt’s apartment where their adorable dog Dobby joined the fun. Dobby is absolutely the sweetest dog with a huge personality. We loved hearing about how he is adjusting to city life, and it kind made me feel like Dobby needs his own reality TV show. Trust me we’d all be hooked on it. Some of my favorite moments from this photo session is when Dobby was just chilling in the background of his mom and dad’s engagement photos. Miriah & Matt are such adoring parents, and I may or may not have left their engagement photo session trying to convince Hugo we need a Dobby of our own.

Miriah & Matt, we’re so grateful for the opportunity to get to meet you, and hear all about how you met and fell in love. We wish you all of the very best in your future plans, the city of Philadelphia is better because you are in it. We hope you are surrounded by love and good community in this next adventure together. We’re so happy our paths have crossed.
