The first word that comes to mind when I think of this couple is sweet. This couple is so sweet. I think I may have said “aww” at least twenty plus times on this beautiful day. Karen & Steve just have a genuine sweetness about their love, a stead-fastness, and a kindness that makes my heart smile. Spending time with this couple has been so much fun, they are both full of so much energy and life, and I so love how they are willing to run with all of our wild ideas.

Karen & Steve were married on a warm October, Sunday, surrounded by their “biggest fans” their family and and friends. One of my favorite parts of this day was the “first look.” When planning a first look, we never want couples to feel rushed, we want them to enjoy the moment and take it all in, so we plan extra time to allow couples those special moments. I loved that Karen & Steve took their time, holding each other, shedding tears of joy, and talking as they started their wedding day together! I would define this day as easy-going, full of beautiful candid moments, friends and family cheering Karen & Steve on, as they entered into this new chapter of their lives.

Shout out to Historic Acres of Hershey, it was a joy to work at this beautiful venue. We love how it was overflowing with interesting little nooks and corners all around the property. And mostly thank you Karen & Steve for allowing us the joy of not only capturing, but being a part of your “BIG” day. We loved it!
