This past summer I had the privilege of attending a beautiful workshop with Lauren Fair & Julie Paisley workshop in Normandy, France. This amazing experience was a gift from Hugo to me, and I can not say thank you to him enough. This workshop was focused on one parts learning and one parts capturing incredible beauty. Lauren & Julie and their team put together such beauty for us to document, and I’m going to be sharing one of the three stylized photo sessions we had the opportunity to be a part of. 

This summer engagement was focused on organic beauty, and the rich texture and color of Normandy’s famous cider. Our beautifully in love couple strolled through town and country and finished their evening with a romantic picnic on the edge of a grand Chateau by creek. I love the life and vibrance of this session, and the soft golden hour glow that made this session come to life with such warmth.

So while you’re in lockdown enjoy a little beauty from the countryside of France. I can not recommend Normandy and France in general enough. I drew so much creativity from the land, food, and culture of France. I hope to one day return with our daughters in tow.
